The Oregon Solar Energy Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting solar education and regulatory reform in Oregon. By partnering with solar companies, workforce development organizations, current and future solar workers, solar regulators, and forward-looking policymakers we’re breaking down barriers to expanding solar energy as a vital part of a clean and renewable energy mix.

What We Do
Collaborate with other nonprofits to provide technical training and career guidance to Oregon’s growing solar workforce.
Connect solar employers with skilled workers.
Provide research and data about the future of solar.
Work with state agencies to ensure that current and future laws support solar adoption.
Partner with municipal, co-op, and public utility districts to establish forward-looking solar policies.
Strategic Direction and Theory of Change
In 2023 the Oregon Solar Energy Education Fund and the Oregon Solar + Storage Industries Association approved our joint Strategic Direction and Theory of Change. These documents will guide our organizational work for the next two-ten years.
